Analysis

My original song ‘Found You’ is now available on all streaming platforms. 

I produced and co-wrote this song. It’s a little different from other songs I have released but it’s my favourite. 

The song was originally written with just a piano accompanying the singer, so it was really difficult to imagine the song any other way than with just a vocal and a piano, luckily, I am really happy with the way the embellished version eventually turned out. The studio version is recorded live in just one take and the piano recording is a grand piano allowing for greater quality of timbre and harmonics. 

The song is about completely surrendering yourself to the one person you found and all the complications and positive things that come with it. It’s melancholic but happy at the same time.

I say every song is my favourite, however, this one really, really is. I hope you can relate to this in some way.

"This song is about the imaginary walls that we build around our hearts for “protection” ... when all those walls really do is make sure that we stay stuck with the hurts of the past ...
